Poem — peso — G. P. Montgomery

When did currency become stress? When did it begin to enslave our time, hearts, and minds? Was it the industrial revolution? Has techonology just given us all more time to stress about money? — Big shoutout to the poet G. P. Montgometry. — Peso. Dollar. Euro. Pound. Yen. — A weight that can liberate.

Original Poem —

eats away at my chest

a weight

that makes my lungs deflate

a worry

the feeling of always being in a hurry

a weight in my chest.
