Mostly Cars (Always in Christ though) w/ Gabe

May 13, 2019

I am back with some more random stuff that draws my attention on the internet. Mostly relating to cars! (I still do all things through Christ, who strengthens… yayayaya. You know the rest.)

These are the types of videos I end up watching when I get bored on my nights off.

I could watch these for hours.

Nothing beats classic car looks. I always double take when scrolling and I pass one.

But they were so slow compared to today’s technology.

So I love seeing a classic car with modern day power.

I saw this bad boy while visiting my Dad in Virginia. I don’t know what it is but I don’t need to know to appreciate it’s beauty.

Even though some classic car purists will say that updating is blasphemy!

Kept scrolling and this headline popped up! —

Chevy Confirms the C8 Corvette and a July Reveal Date

My first thoughts — The end of an era!

The new Corvette will probably be faster and more agile than any Corvette before it, but…

It breaks my heart cuz it won’t look like a Corvette anymore.

It’s always been one of my faves, right underneath a Porsche.

I’ll still love it, but it just won’t be the same anymore.

Scrolling along always helps me learn new things too. Like about the word ‘forged’.

Always knew forged meant stronger and could handle more power, but never really knew why until this video. Jaja. Go figure.

While Chevy is giving me mixed feelings changing the look of the Corvette,

Ford is out here doing it BIG!!!!!

But nobody ever does it bigger than my baby.

Porsche 911 gt3 rs

Will always be one of the best/sexiest cars to me, and they only get better.

Biggest car goal is to own a Porsche like that one day.

Kept it moving from my beloved Porsche and check this out....

Freakin baller. Sometimes, you scroll to things like what is right above and those are the only words needed. Freakin. Baller.

And my scrolling came to end here. —

My 94 Del Sol is still the fastest thing I‘ve ever driven (in my mind lol).

So, sometimes scrolling along when I am bored helps occupy my mind, helps me to learn new things, and helps me to keep up with what’s going on in the car industry.

This post has just been a short highlight of my favorite things on my feed.

Hope you enjoyed scrolling with me and mostly talking about cars. Even though we all know it is always in Christ.

I always enjoy picking Gabe’s mind on things. We think so differently. Even though I also love cars; I really enjoy hearing about what draws his attention when he’s scrolling the internet since he knows way more about the subject than me!
He is holding down #MCM this week and still sending me content so hopefully he will have a steady timeslot soon. He is one of my favorite presences here on Herstun.
I am actually excited that the Corvette is a new look and I hope the model rides better than previous ones. Super sweet looking car with a terrible ride. I hate that.
Loved the levity in this piece though and I am looking forward to scrolling some more with Gabe on Cars & Christ exclusively on Herstun FM Readio.

What do you all think about the Classic Car debate? Should new technology be mixed with antique car frames? Let us know what you think in the comments.
