Seven Summits on Seven Continents Feat. Six IG Adventurers

June 21, 2019

Seven summits on seven continents.

Climing mountains is certainly something to celebrate.

If a mountaineer manages to climb all seven summits, he or she will have stood at the highest point of each of the seven landmasses that make up Mother Earth.

It is kind of a fascinating thought.

And it is something that adventurers spend their lives questing attempting to achieve.

So here are some photos from folks around Instagram that are climbing mountains and reaching for the clouds on every continent.

Literally.

My literal high point of 2018 was standing on the highest point in Africa, the 19,341′ Uhuru Peak of Mount Kilimanjaro. It wasn’t my toughest climb, but it was definitely one of the most rewarding experiences of the year. One of my favorite parts of the climb was the night sky on the summit push. With a little more than 4 hours of sleep we stayed our 12 hour climb to the summit at midnight. The lights of a near by city mirrored the stars. It was unlike anything that I had seen before. • • • What was your high point of 2018? #summit413 #climb #africa #tanzania #mountainchronicles #explore #travel #adventure #outdoors #outside #oakley #blackdiamond #thenorthface #gopro #goprohero5 #2018 #7summits #nofilter #melanin #black

Instagram is one of the hardest platforms to build a legitimate following on.
And it is still one of my absolute favorite social media avenues because of the imagery.
Searching hashtags and being bombarded with the beautiful visuals of the seven summits was so easy and I met some really cool mountaineers in the process.
Part of what started our summer quest on adventure is the goal of ATL’s own #MaineMan to summit Mt. Everest.

Check out his Summit 413 and let’s keep climbing. We all have summits to reach.
